The one and only, infamous Carmelo Trike-a-thon
What is Trike-a-thon?
Trike-a-Thon is our fall fundraiser, where classes take turns biking, striking or scootering around our track to music, and families have a chance to bid on our silent auction, have some lunch, and watch their kiddos zoom. We raise money through business sponsorships, family pledges and a school wide auction, to support music and art enrichment, teacher stipends, classroom upgrades, and family events for infants, toddlers and preschool aged students at Carmelo.
How we raise money, and how you can help!

Business Sponsorships
Your business buys a sponsorship, and you receive advertising on student event teeshirts, your logo on our Trike-a-thon banner that's displayed year round on Carmel Valley Road, shout outs in our social media, and so much more!

Trike-a-Thon Online Auction
Donate tax-deductible products or gift cards for us to auction off at our online auction on November 15th. We are looking for gift cards from businesses, overnight stays or family vacations, local or artisanal crafts, and other family friendly auction items.

Family and Friends Pledges
Trike-a-thon is like a walk-a-thon only with... well... trikes! Though we don't count how many times each child races around the track, we do rely on family and friends pledges to meet our fundraising goals. Anything and everything helps!

Friends and Family Pledges

Where your pledge goes:
The money pledged for your student through our trike-a-thon friends and family fundraising goes to:
fund teacher stipends ($320 for each teacher to spend as they wish on their classroom and $160 for every Aide)
A lovely teacher appreciation week and teacher gifts
Monthly enrichment activities
Care for the fishtanks
As well as items teachers requested for their classrooms such as:
multicultural books and toys
garden supplies for the kids,
heavy duty toy trucks for outside play,
nugget couches for the infant room,
the long blue couches in the library to provide seating for children,
and so much more to upgrade materials and engage students.
Your pledge ensures your student's classrooms and playgrounds have all the resources they need, and their teachers are generously supported.

Help us raise $5000 in family donations this year to support our teachers and classrooms to provide the materials and toys they need to create an engaging and productive learning environment!
Note: Zeffy is fee-free for the CPO, but asks for donations to keep their platform running. It is entirely optional to donate, you can write in your own amount, or customize as needed. Thank you!
